I’ve been using these notebooks since 1995 (note: a looooong time ago). I especially like the 8 x 11.5 vertical size. $6.90 at Dick Blick.

My absolute favorite guide to Paris — I take it every time I go to Paris and mark where I’ve been. Each page is a detailed map of a section of the city. Easy to use, easy to stash in your bag, and means you’re never alone! They make these maps for most cities — I always buy one before I go somewhere new.

I’m pen obsessed. I have different pens for various tasks (list making, thank yous, love notes, taking notes in class). For a while, all I used was a certain pink Pentel Papermate Flair. This afternoon, I spied this Caran D’Arch Essentially Swiss pen and snapped it up. YES those are silhouettes on that pen! I’m going back to writing checks just so I can whip this baby out. What is your favorite pen brand?
PS. Now my pen matches my sigg bottle!

How perfect are these chocolate bees from Burdicks? We sent them to Mom for Mother’s Day and they were a big hit.

So, I think everyone knows I’m a bit of a pen and office supplies nut. Here is my latest find: dry highlighters! As a graduate student, I go through a lot of highlighters, which always makes me feel guilty — I mean its not like they disappear after I throw them out, so these make me feel a little bit better about the environment. (They aren’t just bible highlighters — this was the best image I could find online)…
