Thinking about grey walls. And, after hunting and hunting for tiny bedside tables, I found this $60 charmer from Urban Outfitters:
I had been thinking about this pair, but they went for $450 on ebay. BAH!

We finally bought a new bed and bedding. The three weeks it is going to take to get here is feeling very very very long. I’ll be sure to post photos when we have it all together. via You are My Fave Jr and see the whole house at Design*Sponge.

I’ve gotten it into my head that the bedroom needs work (after 10 years of ignoring the space!). I’ve been keeping my eye out for great peaceful bedrooms and this one caught my eye (and, I’ll admit it, so did that quilt!). The walls are painted Spring Mint and trim is Light Touch, both by Benjamin Moore Via Creature Comforts, via xJavierx’s flickr.

I’m still thinking about curtains and loving these two images. I was floundering for a color selection and so I did what I also do in these cases: I called my mother. She, in turn, consulted her feng shui decorating books and decoded that in our current apartment the best colors for curtains in the living and bedrooms are yellow, black, white and metallics. Short of an actual decorator, feng shui books will have to do!
However, when she said the word yellow, I realized that I’d been saving images of yellow curtains (see above) without even noticing. So, yellow curtains it is!
I clicked around Mood Fabrics and found the following yellows — they are sending me FREE swatches (a godsend to pregnant women everywhere!).

Check out my posts today on D*S on vintage children’s books (so fun!). I’m loving this image from Desire To Inspire for its beautiful light (and red) but also for the quilts. I’d love to make a set like this out of Tim’s old dress shirts.

So do we like the wide wooden planks here? I think I say hot. via Desire to Inspire, from interior designers BAMO.
