Simplicity + Consistency

January 4, 2011

While I’m not big on new year’s resolutions, I do like to spend some time thinking about the year ahead and the year behind. This year, I decided there are two words that I want to serve as my guides:  simplicity and consistency.   I think they will take me a long way, don’t you?

I was pondering about new year’s resolutions this morning and your two words are perfect.

I’ve been simplifying, too. Big time. Feels great. Happy new year, you:) xx

good point! i was hearing someone speak on the radio yesterday & they mentioned that one reason people fail to keep resolutions is that they look at only the ends rather than the means – you have to enjoy the journey if you want to get somewhere – simplify things & don’t put pressure on reaching an unobtainable goal…

I adore these words and may need to adopt them as well. Thanks for the inspiration!
