My favorite part of the day is walking by the flower arrangement in the Great Hall. I thought you might enjoy them as much as I do, so, I’ll post a picture every week for the year I’m working at the Metropolitan.

One of my favorite inspiration books is “Flowers From the Met”, which I found years ago. But you get to see the beautiful real flowers every day! I would love to be a floral designer for the Met!
Correction on the title: “A Bouquet From the Met” by Barbara Plumb, published in 1988. Your post reminded me to revisit this book, but it also encourages me to stop by the Met to see them in person!
Sigh – oh Lila, we love you.
Lovely idea! Can’t wait to see them all.
I’ve been thinking about you and meaning to email all week! How are you, Abbey? Sounds like you are loving your job. I’m excited to see more of these floral arrangements. Kind of like the bouquet-each-week-for-a-year project of 2009;) xo to you and munchkin!
