We’re headed to Los Angeles next week for a low key vacation. I just want to eat good food and explore the city since I’ve never been before. On my list: Tavern for breakfast and Bake Lab for sweets! Found via Happy Lady Eats. Also of interest: the Craft and Folk Art Museum.
Taking the show on the road: LA

We used to live in Los Angeles and, though we may be biased, really enjoy our old neighborhood–the Fairfax district and Third Street. If the weather is nice, you can stroll along Third Street (lots of great boutiques and good eateries, especially Joan’s on Third and Toast, or AOC if you want a special spot for dinner) and then move over to the old Farmer’s Market and Grove shopping area. LACMA and Museum Mile aren’t far away. Have fun!
Oh! And though you probably get plenty of great pizza here, one of my favorite spots is Mozza. Saveur just featured it and did a great write-up of restaurants in Los Angeles.
Sounds great

Enjoy!!!

That’s so nice! We are contemplating a mini vacation soon and were actually thinking of LA because Paul has never been. You’ll have to tell me how the flight goes with Alex.
Enjoy! I was just in LA for work. It’s a fun place, a great break from NYC. And the weather? YUM!
