City Prints from Binth

September 22, 2009

Picture 10

These electric blue framed city posters ($38, includes the frame) by Binth caught my eye this morning… London, Paris, New York, Berlin (plus Chicago and San Francisco).  A set of four would look sweet in a nursery  or in an entry way. Since each print only measures 8 x 10, multiples are critical for making a statement.  I hate the “etsy” effect … a tiny print or two on a sea of a white wall.

Found thanks to this morning’s Stroller Traffic newsletter

Hee! hee! The etsy effect! I’m so with you on that. I have been collecting small prints for a while now but am not putting them up until I have a nice gathering – ’cause they would look lost and silly and little. I just didn’t have that lovely phrase for it!

Oops! I didn’t mean to be anonymous – the above hee! hee! hee! is mine. :-)

I love the blue framing. I think multiple prints of the same collection look great together, and you can play around with them. These are great.

These would look so handsome in a little boy’s room! Now I just need a baby boy. Hmmm, I’ll have to discuss with my fiancee… : )

Bad, bad, bad. My heart skipped at the thought of my beloved San Francisco being interpreted into one of these prints only to find that the fifth and six prints are Chicago and LA (egads), not San Francisco.

These are adorable grouped like that… such vivid colors and clean, simplistic images.

I just posted an electric blue bamboo bowl that this totally reminds me of! What an awesome pop of color for a white wall!
