I’ve gotten it into my head that the bedroom needs work (after 10 years of ignoring the space!). I’ve been keeping my eye out for great peaceful bedrooms and this one caught my eye (and, I’ll admit it, so did that quilt!). The walls are painted Spring Mint and trim is Light Touch, both by Benjamin Moore Via Creature Comforts, via xJavierx’s flickr.

I live that quilt – it makes the room for me.
I think piecing a quilt is going to be my sit-in-front-of-tv-with-busy-hands project this winter.
Love, not live. D’oh.
All this cardboard box dust must be affecting my brain!
I LOVE the vibrant and bold quilt on the foot of the bed! Beautiful!
we painted our bedroom “spring mint” and i adore it. it reads pale blue, but there is plenty of green in it, which is why i think it successfully conveys “adult” rather than “little boy.” i spent weeks looking at color samples trying to pick the right color for our bedroom and am very happy with my choice!
Pale blue / mint green and orange is always such a crisp combination. I especially like that the orange is from a quilt, so can be changed up easily!
beautiful! so calming!
Love the painted ceiling… fresh and calming!
I love that quilt!
This looks like a house of turquoise piece, but the quilt in the midst of the serenity is just what this room needs to get the energy it needs.
Such a great, calm space…and yes, that quilt is rockin.
I’ve been having the same thought lately and am leaning towards a blue/grey paint color. Though now that I see this pic, I think maybe more blue is where it’s at!
I looove that quilt!
