Yesterday I shocked myself: I wasn’t online at all. I wasn’t even at my computer. It wasn’t purposeful, it just happened. Back in my corporate days, where blackberries were on and checked 18 hours a day I never could have imagined unplugging without even noticing. Yesterday was a pretty sweet gift, one that could only happen in August.

so beautiful! that hammock looks amazing (and looks stiff, which is a bonus; i’m always accidentally almost flipping out of them)
glad you had a relaxing day! see you soon, i can’t wait to give you a big hug for all your amazing help! xoxo
ps. this comment is weirdly like an email.
This image is beautiful. Sounds like a perfect day!
I need to find this place today and just take a deep breath.
It was a total treat chatting with you yesterday (and I hope you have recovered from my barrage of valley girl lingo. I think I said ‘awesome!’ approximately 276 times!)
xo
good for you, abbey, sounds like a fabulous day. x
That sounds so nice, Abbey. I need to do that. I really can’t remember the last time it’s happened.
What a wonderful treat! Even more wonderful because it was effortless. I’ve just moved house so my recent internet-less day was enforced unwillingly.(Still kinda enjoyed it though!)
That was quite a gift..! Constant connectivity comes with a price, so it’s nice to realize what that price is once in a while — and acknowledge it as you did here. Thanks for the little reminder…
