Peonies and Hydrangea

June 7, 2009

Two lovely bouquets from the hospital.  Both arrangements have amazing combination of peonies and hydrangeas — but the top is my favorite bouquet of all time.  The blue flower is a type of hydrangea I’ve never seen before.

GORGEOUS! I’m a southern transplant currently in the midwest and I just planted my first hydrangea. So far, so good, if it can just make it through the winter…

So pretty! I’ve never seen hydrangeas like that either. I hope you are relaxing and enjoying every second with that little munchkin. When you get a second, will you email me your address? Thanks, love! xo

Beautiful both. I’m in with love Ranunculus at the moment, can’t believe I only recently discovered it but I try to pick some up when I come across them at markets.

I’d love to know exactly what kind of hydrangea that is – so unusual! Looks like someone has a great eye for the kind of flowers you would like.

Oooh, and congrats again!

I am planning for a wedding and I was wondering if anyone knows where to buy fake peonies from? I live in Idaho and we don`t have very many options for craft and flowers stores. I love how the peonies on this page look I like when they are big but look like they are still buds. Can anyone help me out?
