Um, WOW.
I guess there are some upsides to an economy in the crapper!
What an amazing property!!
Oooh, I really like those blue cabinets in the kitchen!
oh wow! I can’t believe such a charming little house is somewhat affordable! (and by affordable, I mean, I am surprised it is not closer to 1 million!). What a great find!
omg total steal!! I like the top photo where the woodwork is painted a taupy color. Your giving me ideas…
Love it! Really really lovely
Oh oh oh! Me too!!
that putty gray is the perfect shade of gray for a room. love it. love it.
too bad litchfield is so damn far.
Abbey! You made me drool on my keyboard again!
I desperately need that kitchen.
that is so you!
Those fireplaces are amazing. I can see why this would be your dream home. It is beautiful. And unless it comes without a furnace or electricity, it is a very good price!
Tricia – Avolli
beautiful!!! you could have a trampoline and tons of rose bushes in the backyard
Lindsay and Tricia, the reason it is so affordable is that it is not within commuting distance of NYC — so its really more of a “country house” or a place we’d move if we could figure out jobs in the middle of CT (maybe if I got a book contract and tim won the lottery). But still, we can all dream!
I did an internship in Litchfield! Cute little town but, like you said, it’s kind of out there. Great house.
Nice – love the wooden beams!
absolutely dreamy!
Oh, me too! Love the wood beams.
why must New England taunt me this way? It really is a fantastic home. Love the fireplace, kitchen cabinets, exterior. Just plain lovely.
my mom is from CT, and now lives in ME. i randomly browse the real estate and imagine moving back east again. then i remember how poor i am!
thanks for sharing such a beautiful country home! i needed a little bit of east coast love today
