Holy Peanut Butter Chocolate!

March 25, 2009

You’ve got to try these all natural chocolate bars from Q.bel.  They are the most delicious food I’ve had in long time.  I will say that one of the best parts of pregnancy has been that food just tastes SO GOOD.  Just to check my taste buds (I wouldn’t want to lead you astray), I fed some to my husband, and he loved them too.  I’ve given up conventional candy bars because they are filled with all sorts of things I don’t think my baby boy needs to consume.  So I was delighted to find these which have:

No Artificial Colors
No Artificial Flavors
No Preservatives
No High Fructose Corn Syrup
No Hydrogenated Oils

I found them at Whole Foods (they were tantalizingly in my path during checkout).

PS: I found the blog Candy Yum Yum in the course of searching for images of the bars…a blog devoted to candy…this I need in my life!

Uh oh. I’m usually pretty good about avoiding that aisle … not sure I’ll make it past now that I know these are somewhere on the shelf :)

Yuck. I did NOT mean to make that dopey smiley face. Pretend you can’t see it, okay?

well great! that’s just great! i love chocolate and peanut butter together…they are my weakness. and i just so happen to be stopping by whole foods after i drop off my daughter at school. this could be dangerous. if any of you blog commenters are in the atlanta area and happen to be at the lavista whole foods..PLEASE check the candy isle for a 30 something woman with chocolate all over her face..you may need to do an intervention.

PB & chocolate is my favorite combo… I’m going to need to head to Whole Foods and pick these up. And, I think you’re right, food tastes INCREDIBLE when you are pregnant!

Oh man do those look good! I’m so jealous of your pregnancy tastebuds too!

Love the packaging as well–they look like something my dad would bring me back from europe after he went on business trips when I was a kid!

A great find for sure. I’m hoping it will reform the Reese’s PB cup habit in our home.

Oh my do those sound good. Bet they’d be great in cookies too, crumbled up. And obviously, they’d make cookies healthier for you. ;-)
