Odd you post about love because I was just thinking about how much I love Valentine’s Day. Saying those words is a confession of sorts because I’m one of those that detests commercial holidays. But I’ve learned to see what is utterly magical about this time of year.
I absolutely adore! being able to tell those I love how much I truly love them. Yes, we should tell them year round, but unfortunately time is spent elsewhere. So, really, what could be better than sharing love with those you love the most?
I love being alive. Life is a total challenge, but what a gift it is.

I love wearing socks my grandma knit me when it is cold outside curled up with a cup of tea playing cribbage with my honey. Really can’t be beat! I’ll have to do that this weekend!

Things I love: new school supplies, the wall of colored paper stacks at kinkos, dog dreams with twitching feet, new smartwool socks and popcorn (that it even exists!)
I love finding random little slips of paper, lists, receipts, notes etc. tucked into old books from the thrift store. It makes me feel like I’m being treated to a tiny, mysterious peek into lives lived long ago.
