The pen idea is fabulous. I’m so glad you are sharing all of these ideas. I’m trying to do more handmade and vintage this year. It’s a bit exciting to see how Christmas will turn out this year. It’s unpredictable.

i feel like there is a strong & growing wave of families that are turning to alternative holiday giving this season–not just because of the economy, but as you said, because “handmade” changes the thought process of holiday giving. love your ideas!

The pens look great! I made ornaments this year out of sculpey. It was so easy and fun and they will make great gifts.

Love the bic pens—what a fun idea! There’s so much great paper out there now, and I always want to buy some but never know what to do with it. This is perfect!
