For eating, Scoma's for sure. Be sure to check out the Bell Jar when you're out shopping and while I can't remember the names of the shops I visited in that same area, look around there too. The Bell Jar has a webpage where you can get their info. Of course I'm sure you've already checked sfgirlbybay's blog for more inspiration. Have fun.

My husband says the last time he went he loved eating at "Scoma's" at the Warf off Embacadaro. It's on a boat offers interesting sites including plenty of sea lions to watch while you dine.

"Fleur de Lis" is also a nice restaurant.

Hope you have fun!!!

There is an AMAZING restaurant called Gary Danko right in San Fran. We went on our honeymoon and were there for about 3-4 hours. It was the most incredible eating experience of my life! HIGHLY recommended- enjoy!!

Fall is the BEST time to visit the Bay Area ... although we did just get hit with a storm on Saturday. What kind of places are you looking to visit (store- and restaurant-wise)? Any particular neighborhoods that are more convenient/you're particularly interested in?
