The “Pachwork & Quilted gifts” is a fantastic book! You should get it.
I am excited about the new sewing books coming out next month! Anna Maria Horners, “Seams to Me” and Alicia Paulsen’s “Stitched in Time”.
These and “The Gentle Art of Domesticity” are all on my Christmas list!
I’m hoping for a subscription to Selvedge, Lena Corwin’s book, and Jane’s cookbook, Cherry Cakes and Ginger Beer – it’s all recipes based on food in children’s stories. So fun!
I recently saw a post about Lena Corwin’s Printing by Hand, but couldn’t remember the name of it or even the term “fabric printing.” I started going through my list of usual suspects (my preferred “pretty things” blogs) and found your post. I know this wasn’t the original one that inspired me to look again for the book, but I found it through the Lotta book you linked to – so perfect! Now I want all of these!
anything with images of macaroons on the front cover, I want!! x
I’m just now getting around to putting Barbara Walker’s knitting treasury books in my wishlist, mainly due to my current obsession with lace knitting.
But do you mind putting a review of ‘the gentle art of demesticity’ up when you get it?
