Happy Weekend

October 3, 2008

I love fall and crisp air and warm sweaters but when I saw this image (from this amazing German website found via Made by Girl) I was instantaneously nostalgic for summer and picnics and sunlight.  Last night we went to a great event supporting a great organization, Summer Search. Today I have family in town and then tonight we’re going to see Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist (can’t wait — Friday’s were made for movies).

Some weekend links for you:

Michelle over at Sugar Pie Express posted an interview with me. She asked some great questions and I hope you’ll check it out.

Joanna was on CNN (!!) talking about apartment swapping (the grown up older sister to the staycation!)

Check out the Vintage Office Flickr group (found via Aesthetic Outburst)

And finally, a great week of guest posts over at the Lil Bee where this photo posted by I *heart* you had me smiling.  I’d like $4 karate lessons.   Have a great weekend!  Abbey

I watched leaves blow down my street for the first time yesterday. Autumn is here.

I love the outdoor set up, such a simple idea. We are working on making the space under our carport a place to have winter camp fires and picnics. I think it can be done! At least it can in the NW.

Happy Friday to you!
