As much as Nie Nie’s plane crash has been on my mind and haunting my heart, I’ve also been in awe, and a touch proud, of the blog world’s reaction to the outpouring of support for Nie Nie and her family. So many people have written about it and there isn’t anything else I can add. This blog world is an amazing community. So many of you ran auctions, I donated money and bid, and we’re all sending good energy to them. There is a great article in today’s New York Times by Alex Williams about Nie Nie and of course you can get updates here too.

Teaching went well yesterday! Thanks for all your nice comments and good energy! Today’s giveaway isn’t as elegant as yesterday’s but it is a huge collection of Mrs. Grossmans stickers (I got them at a Gift Show). I think some child somewhere would have a lot of fun with these! The final give away (nothing too fancy) will go up at noon.

Another roll of wallpaper!  I love this lotus design.  It’s actually very subtle.  There is more on this roll than the William Morris print, but still, not enough for anything major.  Someone suggested lining drawers with the William Morris paper which I thought was genius!  PS commenting is up until weekend when I’ll draw winners.  xo Abbey

Today’s give away is some lovely William Morris wallpaper.  I have no idea how long this role is but I do know it isn’t a full roll.  Maybe enough to do a small closet.  I’d say it’s better as something for kids to play with or to make cards out of or to wrap presents with.  Happy Wednesday!  Abbey

So it’s September and we’re all going make to school, or refocusing on jobs, or just in the post Labor Day funk.  To add some fun to this dreary hectic week, I thought I’d do a series of little give aways.  Today’s is a Martha Stewart Weddings DVD packed with tips and ideas and then a Martha Stewart Weddings Collector’s Edition magazine (fancy!!).   All you need to do is leave me a comment and if you’re the only commenter, it’s yours!  Otherwise I’ll choose from random among the commenters.  Happy September!
