I’ve always loved this image from Wary Meyers and this weekend I started poking around looking for some vintage embroidered pillows on Ebay.

Oooh – great finds. I love bargello pillows!
The pillows are great, but I got distracted by the wall color behind the couch.
I wish I had the nerve to do such a bold color. I have a red couch though and it might just look tacky.
I’m dying for that room.
@mazinly gorgeous.
Ohhh I love these – colorful and durable!
I heart Way Meyers too! (And they are the nicest couple ever!)

Thanks!

If you like needlepoint pillows, you should check out http://www.finecellwork.co.uk. They are a UK non-profit and designs are traditional and supplied by top designers like Allegra Hicks, Nicky Haslam and Nina Campbell. Fine Cell Work was started to teach needlework to prison inmates; the prisoners do the work when they are locked in their cells, and the earnings give them hope, skills and independence. What an idea!
