As much as Nie Nie’s plane crash has been on my mind and haunting my heart, I’ve also been in awe, and a touch proud, of the blog world’s reaction to the outpouring of support for Nie Nie and her family. So many people have written about it and there isn’t anything else I can add. This blog world is an amazing community. So many of you ran auctions, I donated money and bid, and we’re all sending good energy to them. I just read this article. I can’t believe they’ve raised almost $100k…that’s incredible! I wasn’t a NieNie reader beforehand, but was so saddened by the accident and instantly donated. It is so upsetting and I just think of those poor children. My heart goes out to that family. Something tells me that they are more prepared than most might be, given the amount of love and morals that Stephanie has instilled in her children.
I too am awed by the impact this tragedy has had. I have been reading NieNie for a long time and it’s so inspiring what is going on as a result of her accident.
I’m glad I’m not the only stranger who is affected by Stephanie and encouraged by the life she led!
It brings tears to my eyes to see how strong and united the blogging community can get for such n important cause.
