I’ve been thinking about gallery walls… and seeing them everywhere recently. Here are 28 in fact! The top three are my favorites. I’m thinking about putting a gallery wall above my desk. I have some egg prints, some sheets of old stamps and some art that will be a beginning!

I LOVE these – such a great round-up! I like the look too…now if only I could get the time to set it all up!
WOW!!! What a great post of inspiration
What a wonderful collection of inspiring, well… collections! THANKS!!
couldn’t have compiled a better selection myself! ROCK ON with your gallery walls. I’m picking up my collection of framed matchbooks on Friday and hanging them this weekend, cannot wait! This makes me soooo happy! Great job Abbey!
I’ve been obsessing over gallery walls, too — thanks for this fabulous round-up. I’m really inspired by the images you chose.
Question–how would you frame a sheet of stamps?
Oh my God. Eye candy overload. I’m bookmarking this post!
Love this post. Possibilities spring up when you can see and compare different ways of doing one thing at one go, like here.
I love the framed contactsheets. I did a similar thing when I was studying abroad. Funny, now that I think of it, the whole idea of a photo contact sheet is a thing of the past. Retro photo?

Gallery Walls are the best! I have one in my room… i love your photo with the framed negatives and the one with the vintagy plates!
very cool. i did this for my sister in her living room when she asked me to int. design it. i love this motif, as it allows you to group such diverse art.
i really like the clean spacious gallery wall in Indian by Design!
Holy Cow! I had been collecting screen shots to do a post like this, but yours are much better. Fantastic sleuthing, Abbey!
What a very generous post so full of gems! I have a picture wall and have just spotted one is hung sideways! don’t worry its an abstract so no-one will know…
I’m so glad everyone enjoyed — I keep seeing more, so maybe I’ll do a part II
Thank you for all of these – wonderful!
Yes! Fabulous grouping. Love it all!!!
Excellent grouping Abbey! I want one now, too! Thank you for such a great collection – it’s like you’ve done a gallery wall of gallery walls
Love these all. I had noticed that one in Domino before too. There is truly an art to doing these right. These are all awesome.
thank you for this — it’s wonderful
ahhh! i love. gallery groupings are the BEST! i have a little one i keep adding to over our credenza… such great inspiration seeing all of these together!
wonderful, inspiring post!
Thank You Thank You Thank you!
This is EXACTLY what I was looking for.
Fantastic Work.
Oooh. I love the idea of hanging contact sheets. I just moved into a nice little vintage apartment and my walls are all blank and waiting for some framing like this.
I think the top one is my favourite – and this inspires me to get a move on and get my own together!
The fish plate wall from Martha is a total crack up.
I is nice to see so many other people doing this. As an artists I have grown a collection of friends’ artwork in trades. I want to feature all of my pieces and our Brooklyn apartment is only so big. Eventually my husband and I decided to just hang everything up. I love it and visitors are always so engaged viewing over 55 framed pieces in are apartment
