This weekend as I bought yet more vintage photographs (like this cutie above) I realized I have more photos than I know what to do with. So, I thought that a vintage paper swap might be a fun summer activity (and some inspiration in the mail). If you’re interested in participating, send me an email at gogoabigail AT gmail.com with your mailing address (and blog if you have one!).If we have enough interest I’ll then assign you a swap partner and send you some more details. I’ll say that the deadline to sign up is July 31st so we have most of the summer to hunt down some vintage goodness (or decided what we can part with!).
What do I mean by vintage paper? How about: vintage snapshots, postcards, wallpaper, postage stamps, flashcards, wrapping paper, labels of all kinds, even road maps. The only rule is that the paper should be at least 20 years old (and no reproductions or professional scrapbooking stuff…). To keep it fair and fun, let’s say that if you don’t already have a vintage paper stash, you won’t spend more than $15 dollars on the vintage paper.
NB: if you’d like to just swap vintage photos, indicate that in your email and I’ll match you with someone who is interested in vintage photos too. Even if you can’t participate, I hope you’ll spread the word!

I’ve sent you word that I’d like to participate! I’m VERY excited about this one — I feel like I always have to buy paper bits taht I want in lots and wind up with lots of cool extra pieces that I don’t have anything to do with. Hooray for finding some new pieces!
Great Idea! I would love to participate.
I’ve gotten tons of emails — can’t wait!
Oh! I’m in. E-mail to follow.
What a “strange” idea – vintage swap! I must be in the right place because I also have fish swimming on my dashboard. I see the dates here are all 2008. Am I too late????? Most of everything I own is more than 20 years old.
