this reminds me of my favorite cafe in the west village…not sure of the name (not sure it HAD a name…maybe mojo coffee?) anyway, on charles st. west of greenwich. all wood on the inside, like being inside a sauna. the beams were all taken from a mushroom farm upstate, and the tables are cross-sections of trees, with bark still attached. wonderful, cozy place. wonderful, bearded owner.
