Checkwith your local framing store or someplace like Michael's that does framing, or even your local hard ware. There are staples that goe into the side of frame (backside of course) that are used to hold pictures in.

i recently tried this idea on an old frame i had inherited from my grandmother (inspired by your post). i was wondering how you attached the foam + cork to the actual frame (mine had nothing to hold the newly corked piece in)--so i tried nails but these were not as successful as one might have hoped! any suggestions?
