Check out these funky vintage fruit boxes. I want them! These would be such nice boxes to keep spices/baking stuff in.

Mmm, me too. I love old boxes, they’re so expensive though. Can’t justify buying them here, unless I find a bargain somewhere.
I love these! My husband bought me 2 of them years ago at an antique sale — one is an old Whiskey crate and the other is an old corn syrup box. We use one to hold DVD’s and stray things and the other one we drilled a hole in the back and put our modem, phone garbage and power bar in it, shoved all the cables down into it, ran the cords through the back and found something to put on top of it to hide it all. Now you don’t see all those ugly wires!!
quite a delightful find..I love the bottom one a lot.
Love these.
I have a weakness for old stuff, like these.
I found two larger/taller boxes that look similar (old wood, distressed) and they are stamped with the manufacturer’s name of an old dymaite company, which amuses me. We use one as a recycle bin for newspapers and the other catches two neat stacks of decor mags that are the overflow I can no longer keep in the armoire I irresponsibly bought to hold about 7 years worth of old desing mags. Oy.
Love your blog. (Still.)
