I clicked on several and decided to buy the one from the Polish Art Center. It has already arrived and the the matchbox is big and fabulous with amazing bear claw matches for only $4.50! I am going to give matchboxes to all my relatives this year because it is such a unique present and easy to send in an envelope. WHAT A WONDERFUL COLLECTION OF MATCHBOXES TO BUY!
I clicked on several and decided to buy the one from the Polish Art Center. It has already arrived and the the matchbox is big and fabulous with amazing bear claw matches for only $4.50! When I was wee, my dad travelled all the time and all the matchboxes in our house always seemed to come from exotic far off places - bars in Cairo, restaurants in Australia, hotels in Japan. I'm pretty sure I wasn't allowed to play with them, but I liked looking at the pictures of hotels or the funky logos and wondering what the places must have been like. This is such a great collection of really unique matchbox designs.
